My 56 Day Goal/Experiment - Day 2
Today I am going to talk a little more about the nutrition plan I have set in place for these 8 weeks.
Most of the food I eat will be fruits and vegetables. My protein will come form tuna fish (and maybe salmon), while I avoid chicken, beef and pork. Fats will come mostly from unsalted nuts and peanut butter. With the exception of some coffee creamer, I will be avoiding most processed foods, as well as simple carbs and foods with high Glycemic Index.
Here is what I am eating today:
1 16oz coffee w/ 2 tablespoon of creamer
1 Serving of natural peanut butter
1 cucumber
20-25 baby carrots
1/2 cup of radishes
1/2 cup of celery
1 cup of white grapes
1 cup of cherries
1 apple
2 peaches
2 servings of flavored Tuna (5oz each)
Total cals is about 1200, with the following breakdown:
Fat: 30%
Carbs: 43%
Protein: 27%
If I end up getting really hungry later at night, I might have another tablespoon of peanut butter or some more grapes or tuna.
